Introduction to Mahjong Lesson

New to mahjong? This 2–2.5 hour intro lesson is designed for complete beginners in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. I'll come to your location — home, club, or favorite spot — bringing all the materials with me: tiles, racks, NMJL playing cards, and a mat. By the end, you'll know how to read the NMJL card, set up the game, and play with confidence.

Learned the game but still feel hesitant when you sit down to play? That's exactly what ‘Play with Confidence’ lesson is for. This private 2-2.5 hour follow-up lesson takes place at your location anywhere in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, with all materials provided. We'll do a brief review, then spend the bulk of our time playing real games together — so the rules start to click, your instincts sharpen, and you leave actually feeling ready.
